2. Classification of pneumatic conveying
There are various ways to categorize pneumatic conveying, and among these, two are commonly used:
1. According to the dense degree of materials in the pipeline, it can be divided into: thin-phase conveying, medium-phase conveying and dense-phase conveying.
Dilute-phase conveying: conveying pressure is relatively low and stable, with the increase of air speed and rise, the material-gas ratio is generally low.
Dense-phase conveying: higher conveying pressure, low gas velocity, can realize high material-gas ratio conveying.
2. According to the airflow formed in the pipeline, it can be divided into three major categories: suction-feeding, pressure-feeding and composite. No matter how many forms of pneumatic conveying devices today, can be categorized into suction-feeding, pressure-feeding type of these two categories
